Information & How to get to KA BRU River Villa
Your way to the KA BRU River Rental Villa
How to get here
Coming from Ilheus. Itacaré is about 60km north of Ilheus. By car it takes you about an hour. The road is in good condition and it's a fairly scenic route, especially once you pass Serra Grande which is half way.
Coming from Salvador it is a bit of a stretch. First you have to take the ferry boat across the bay which takes exactly an hour. From the other side (Itaparica) it takes about 6-7 hours to Itacaré. We recommend using your GPS. The road is in a good condition but can have unexpected holes.
The Villa is located in a remote area within the Atlantic Forest of Itacaré. It is necessary to arrange a meeting point so that we can accompany you to our Villa.
To organize your arrival at the Villa, please contact our local coordinator at least 12 hours before your arrival at +55 (73) 98220-8008. We will arrange a meeting point with you.
As our Villas are located in the Atlantic Forest of Itacaré, the cellular signal can be weak. In case of difficulties, please send a WhatsApp message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

High Voltage
The electricity in Itacare is 127V (the standard voltage in the rest of Brasil is 110V). The area of Itacare suffers from energy breakdowns mostly at the high season period. Emergency lamps are indicated. Don’t worry, our villa is well organized and also can provide you with emergency lamps as well. The energy breakdowns last mostly about 2-3 hours.
