A six -bedroom private villa that is transformed into a POP UP Boutique Hotel surrounded by the open ocean on one side and a tropical lagoon on the other, all known as the area of Cassange. Minimalistic clean lines are the characteristics of this prominent location that overlooks the stretched coast of the peninsula of Marau. KA BRU 1100 is a pop up boutique hotel concept that will remain open for only 1100 nights.

Information & How to get to KA BRU 1100
How to get here
KA BRU 1100 is located in a rural area between the lagoon of Cassange and the sea, on the peninsula of Marau, Bahia. Leaving Ilhéus, take the road BR-001 and then road BR-030 north towards Camamu. Before reaching the city, take the dirt road following the sign KA BRU which is located at the roundabout on the road. Once you enter the dirt road, follow the direction of Marau until you reach the village of Saquaira, approximately 35 kilometers. After passing through Saquaíra, you will find the sign KA BRU 1100 and enter the "trail" rua das Bromélias, follow the trail until you see the hotel. KA BRU 1100 is located directly at Cassange beach, before KABRU BEACH, which is located in Campinhos

VERY IMPORTANT: download the map on your GPS before leaving Ilhéus. On the road from Ilheus to Cassange there is no phone signal. Please contact us prior to your arrival and we will give you an update on the state of the road.
We recommend the rental of a car for roads.

High Voltage
The electricity on the Marau peninsula is 220V (the standard voltage in the rest of Brasil is 110V).
The peninsula suffers from energy breakdowns mostly at the high season period. Emergency lamps are well indicated. Don’t worry our hotel is well organized and can provide you with emergency lamps as well. The energy breakdowns last mostly about 2-3 hours.

We are located in a rural area, our water comes from a naturfal well. Our hotel water is treated, but not filtered. We recommend bottled water for your daily use.
Transfer Possibilities
Private Transfer from Ilheus
Ilheus (IOS) is located approximately 100 km away from KA BRU 1100, which has the closest airport and therefore is the easiest option. We can arrange the airport transfer for you. A driver will meet you on arrival and brings you straight to our doorstep. Price on request.
Rental Car from Ilheus
You can rent a car in Ilheus at the airport. This gives you added independence and flexibility to explore the area during your stay. But be aware that the roads up the peninsula of Maraú (40km) are unpaved. This can cause delays during periods of heavy rain or lack of maintenance. We recommend the rental of a car for roads.
Air Transfer from Salvador
The fastest, and most scenic way to reach KA BRU 1100 is by private air transfer. Upon your arrival in Salvador, a private helicopter will be waiting for you. Professional staff will take care of your needs and luggage. The flight takes approximately 45 minutes. Please contact us one week prior to your arrival.
